Longman & Van Grack Attorney to Speak at American Bar Association’s Live Ethics CLE Presentation

On Wednesday, Longman & Van Grack Attorney Robb Longman will be a featured speaker at aLive Ethics CLE Webinar titled: “Going Out on Your Own and Changing Firms – Practical and Ethical Considerations”sponsored by the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Taxation.

Robbwill discuss both ethical and practical issues that arise when attorneys change law firms or begin their own law practice after being with a firm. The careful attorney must plan to deal with these issues. Ethical issues discussed will include, among others, the duty to inform clients of your change in firms, client confidentiality concerns, and conflict of interest issues that may arise as a result of the change in firms. Robbwill also discuss how to handle issues with not just clients but also on networking, notifying your current firm and marketing issues that new firms face.
